SAFETY

Safety at work is an extremely important area that we are constantly striving to improve. We comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act in all our operations, and our goal is 0 accidents at work. We aim to achieve this through, among other things, careful training and instruction.

WELL-BEING AT WORK – PSYCHOSOCIAL FACTORS

According to the 2023 survey on psychosocial stress factors, our staff are rarely stressed. The average score is 1.64 on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is not at all stressed and 5 is very often stressed.

TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

We want to offer our employees opportunities for personal development to supper the meaningfulness of the work. We cooperate with Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia, and offer the opportunity for apprenticeship training for a vocational qualification in woodworking. It enables our employees to complete a vocational qualification while working.

HUMAN RIGHTS

We comply with international human rights laws in all our activities and require our business partners to do the same.

FAIR WORKPLACE AND HARASSMENT PREVENTION

It is important for us to respect our employer responsibilities and provide a fair workplace for our employees. We abide by the company-specific collective agreement with the Industrial Union and the Trade Union Pro. Employees are represented by a shop steward and a health and safety representative. We also encourage fairness among our employees, and there is zero tolerance for harassment and bullying of any kind in our company.

  • Dialog –  We are in close contact with our customers to provide them with products that meet their needs.
    We also support an open dialogue to develop our business.

  • Quality and product safety – We focus on manufacturing high-quality and safe products, and our operations are certified by both NCS and RISE. These certificates cover quality, durability and quality assurance.

  • Reliability of supply – Flexibility is one of the defining characteristics of our business, and we strive to ensure reliability of supply for our customers.
